One of the most photographic places in Toronto is Berczy Park in Old Town Toronto. Located in the middle of Front and Wellington, it’s a must visit triangular space filled with quirky and fun public art. Berczy Park is one of the best places to sit and people/puppy watch.

In the center of the park is a whimsical fountain created by Claude Cormier + Associés of Montreal. 27 dog sculptures surround the fountain, some of which spraying water out of their mouths. All of the dogs are looking up at a golden bone at the top of the structure. Two cat sculptures are strategically placed in the park. This piece of art pays tribute to the people and their dogs who live in the condo buildings surrounding the park. To the west end of the park, you’ll find a pair of bronze hands called “Jacobs Ladder” created by Toronto artist Luis Jacob. Carved mosaic pavement and grassy garden beds frame the beautiful public space in downtown Toronto.

Berczy Park is a must on any things to do in Toronto list. This park is located up the Street from the Novotel Toronto Centre Hotel in downtown Toronto.
